New Statewide Health Initiative

During the 2025 legislative session, Florida Statute 381.992 established the Type 1 Diabetes Early Detection Program.

The Florida Department of Health, in collaboration with Florida school districts, has developed materials to help parents and guardians learn about the early detection of Type 1 diabetes.

👉 These materials are especially for families with children in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade and are now available online.

📄 Check out the Diabetes Early Detection Program >>https://5il.co/3qbx8 or Visit FL Department of Health Diabetes Website

We encourage parents and guardians to review these resources and stay informed.

Mustang families, due to the increase of PreK students on our campus, we are implementing new procedures for afternoon pickups. While our goal is always safety, we also feel this will create a more efficient procedure for students, parents, and staff. Beginning Monday, August 18th, the new procedures will start for AFTERNOON PICKUPS ONLY.

Front pickup (HWY 98): PreK – 2nd Grade
319 pickup: 3rd Grade – 5th Grade*

*3rd-5th graders with family members in PreK-2nd should report to the Front pickup area.

Thank you for working with us as we make these changes.
